We implement strict safety zones, use debris containment systems, and coordinate closely with building management. Our work areas are clearly marked, and we maintain constant communication with ground safety personnel.

Project duration varies based on building size, weather conditions, and scope of work. A typical 20-story building exterior might take 6-8 weeks. We provide detailed timelines during the consultation phase.

Yes. We specialize in minimal-disruption techniques, working during optimal hours and coordinating with building management to minimize impact on tenants. Our equipment and methods are designed for occupied buildings.

Work will be suspended during unsafe weather conditions, and our scheduling usually factors in normal weather conditions. We include buffer days for weather related delays. Occasionally we may have wet years of dry seasons that vary the progress of the project.

Our teams actively monitor the weather with online weather stations and local weather data. We will set up local monitoring if the online information isn't present. Most city's weather information is readily available online as an api feed. If the wind prevents us from working, we send out daily notifications as the forecast is generally accurate within 4 hours. So plenty of notice is available when the wind data is available.

Our goal is to make the frequency of painting as minimal as possible. High-rise buildings are generally not easy to access, however there are some exceptions with modern lifts and access with rooftop access units being installed on many new modern buildings. Moorhouse Coating uses commercial-grade, high-performance coatings specifically formulated for high-rise applications. We work with manufactures to create long-lasting formulations from industry-leading manufactures that excede UV-resistant and water perm standards.

We develop coating systems and processes to last 10 years. Some projects have 15 years between service, but generally we suggest planning on every 10 years to review the exterior. A good rule of thumb is an inspection every 5 years to check for performance of coating, water intrusion possibilities and detailing problem areas. Drone inspection now makes the 5 year review easy and detailed without much set up cost.

Moorhouse Coating will warranty labor and material based on the previous condition and availability of previous coating information. Typically we write a 5 year warranty with an extension based on a five year check point to ensure all penetrations and water terminations are properly performing.
