Our standard warranty covers: 1. **Materials defects** - Protection against premature product failure 2. **Application issues** - Coverage for peeling, blistering, and flaking 3. **Color retention** - Guarantees against excessive fading beyond industry standards 4. **Adhesion problems** - Protection against premature adhesion failure 5. **Chalking and erosion** - Coverage for abnormal surface degradation The warranty duration varies by project type: residential projects typically receive 3-5 year coverage, while commercial and industrial projects can qualify for 5-10 year warranties depending on the coating systems used and environmental conditions.

To maintain valid warranty coverage: 1. **Follow all provided maintenance guidelines** including proper cleaning procedures 2. **Document any damage promptly** and notify us within 30 days of noticing issues 3. **Allow periodic professional inspections** when recommended 4. **Avoid unauthorized modifications or repairs** to painted surfaces 5. **Maintain records** of all maintenance performed 6. **Address water intrusion or structural issues** that could affect the coating system We provide detailed maintenance instructions specific to your project upon completion, and our warranty department is available to answer any maintenance questions that arise during the coverage period.

Our warranties consist of two complementary components: 1. **Workmanship Warranty** - Covers the application process, surface preparation, and craft quality; this is provided directly by Moorhouse Coating and protects against application defects. 2. **Manufacturer Warranty** - Covers the paint or coating product itself against manufacturing defects; this is provided by the paint manufacturer and protects against product failure when properly applied. When combined, these warranties provide comprehensive protection. As your contractor, we coordinate both warranty aspects, serving as your single point of contact for any warranty claims. Our status as a certified applicator for major manufacturers allows us to offer extended manufacturer warranties not available to all contractors.
