Moorhouse Time App Support
Moorhouse Time is the app Moorhouse Coating employees and subcontractor workers use to clock in and out, take breaks, and sign their timecards. This page answers the common questions. If yours is not here, contact us.
Getting an account
We create every account. You cannot sign up in the app. Ask your supervisor or the office, and we will send you the work email address and password to sign in with.
Signing in
- Sign in with the work email address and password we gave you.
- Forgot your password? On the sign-in screen, type your email address, then tap Forgot password?. We email you a link to set a new one. Open the link on the same phone.
- Still cannot sign in? Your account may not be set up or may have been closed. Contact us.
Location
The app records where you are when you clock in and out. If you turn on background location, it also records your location about once a minute while you are clocked in, and stops when you clock out. You can clock in and out with location turned off; the punch is recorded as having no location, and your supervisor is told.
To change the setting, open your phone's Settings, find Moorhouse Time, and choose Location. The app privacy policy explains what is collected and how long it is kept.
Clocking in without signal
You can clock in, take breaks and clock out with no signal. The app saves each punch on the phone and sends it when you are back online. Keep the app installed and signed in until it has sent them.
A missed or wrong punch
If you forgot to clock in or out, or a time is wrong, ask your supervisor to correct it before your timecard is approved. Once a timecard is approved it is used for payroll.
Your information and closing your account
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account. The app has no button to delete an account, because we create and close accounts. See the app privacy policy for how to make a request and what we must keep by law.
